What's free, forever
You don't need Pro to get serious value out of ZoRove. Free includes:
- Offline state packs for all 50 states
- The community places library — search, view, leave reviews
- Active fires, wilderness areas, government campgrounds
- Navigate-to-pin (online and offline)
- One vehicle in your Garage with specs and VIN decode
- Tribes — joining is always free; creating one is Pro
- Note Board, events, RSVPs in any tribe you've joined
You can use ZoRove indefinitely without paying anything. We're not going to break the free tier.
What's in Pro
Pro is for Rovers who use ZoRove regularly and want every feature on. It includes everything in free, plus:
- Public land overlays — PAD-US (every federal management agency colored), USFS MVUM forest road system, OHV areas
- State hunting units — game management areas for elk, deer, and more, state by state
- GPS tracking and GPX — record where you go, export to other apps

The 14-day trial
Every new account gets a free 14-day trial of Pro. We don't ask for a credit card up front — you only enter payment if you want to keep going after the trial. When the trial ends, your account drops back to free unless you've subscribed.
How to start a trial or subscribe
- Sign in and visit your account page.
- Tap Start trial if you haven't used yours yet, or Upgrade to subscribe directly.
- Subscriptions go through Stripe Checkout. Pick monthly or annual.
Managing your subscription
From your account page, tap Manage billing. That opens the Stripe billing portal where you can:
- Update your card
- Switch between monthly and annual
- Download invoices
- Cancel
Cancelling
Cancellation is one tap in the billing portal. There's no retention dance, no "are you sure" carousel, no calling support. When you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of your current billing period, then your account drops back to free. Your data stays put.
Why we charge anything
Map data isn't free to host. The base map, state packs, satellite imagery, and the bandwidth to deliver them all cost real money. So do the servers that handle places, photos, and tribes. Pro is what keeps the lights on so we can keep the free tier free, and so we don't have to sell ads or your location data.
